AAWRE Diplomates will present a special 1-hour free webinar titled Recent Developments in US Army Corps of Engineers Hydrologic Models on May 6 at 2 PM EDT. AAWRE 2018 President Roger Kilgore, P.E., D.WRE, F.ASCE will make a brief presentation on the impact of water resources engineers and the importance of AAWRE Diplomate Board Certification.

He will be followed by Matthew McPherson, P.E., D.WRE and George Modini, P.E., D.WRE from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC), who will be making a presentation on the Corps Water Management System (CWMS), a nationwide effort to link hydrologic models for water management on major rivers.

Also, Chris Dunn, P.E., D.WRE of the HEC will provide an overview of a comprehensive water basin analysis set of tools known as the HEC Watershed Analysis Tool or HEC-WAT.

The AAWRE organized a special free webinar in December 2017 titled Applications of Remote Sensing to Water Resources Engineering. More than 175 professional engineers and practitioners participated in the webinar event.

AAWRE hopes that the upcoming webinar will be highly attended and many participants will tune in.
