Our water resources engineering profession is a noteworthy, learned profession that is accomplished through a unique combination of specialized education, professional experience, and enabled through special skills and trust extended by our customers and the public we serve.

A requirement of the D.WRE Board Certification is your annual recertification. For the certification period for January 1 thru December 31, 2020 ($150 ASCE members and $200 non-ASCE members) is due by December 31, 2019. (renew online here). 

Starting in 2020, a 10% late fee is being accessed for recertifications received after January 1, 2020. Information concerning changes to the AAWRE by-laws and operating rules are available at https://aawre.org/about-us/governing-documents.

If you have retired from active practice, you may change your certification to a Retired Diplomate (Retired D.WRE) for $25 per year or a one-time $250 lifetime fee (retired online renewal here).
