Ms. Elizabeth M. Perez, P.E., D.WRE is a Principal Engineer with Brown and Caldwell in the West Palm Beach office of Brown and Caldwell. Ms. Perez co-authored “Water Supply and Pollution Control (8th Edition)”, co-Authored ASCE Book: “The Status of State Water Resources Planning in the United States 2005”, and served as Editor and Co-Author of ASCE Book: “The Role of Technology in Water Resources Planning and Management”. Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from University of Florida and her Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Elizabeth is a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI). She is the most recent Chair of the Water Resources Planning Committee (2008-Current), and previously served as Secretary in 2008. Elizabeth participated as Task Committee Chair for Role of Technology in Water Resources Planning and Management (2006-2008) and she is also an active member of Florida Water and Environment Association (FWEA) and Water Environment Federation (WEF). Elizabeth serves on the Board of Directors of FWEA as the Director-At-Large for Mutual Organizations (2008-Current).

Ms. Perez has been a Diplomate since March 2009 and Elizabeth shares her perspectives with AAWRE on her path to her career, advice for younger engineers, her mentorship with the late Bud Viessman, love of her engineering profession, and her personal interests.
